What to Expect in Your Role:

We are seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant or Dispensary Technician to join our friendly and supportive team, working 8.5 hours per week. The roster currently includes Sundays from 10:15am to 7:15pm, providing valuable support to our sole Pharmacist on duty. There is also potential for additional hours for the right candidate.

In this rewarding role, you'll work closely with our Pharmacists to support prescription preparation, stock management, and daily pharmacy operations while delivering exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail and commitment to patient care will help maintain TerryWhite Chemmart's high standards of service and healthcare

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers promptly.
• Manage inventory, including stock monitoring and ordering as needed.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding prescription processing and wait times.
• Assist in promoting pharmacy services, including care clinic services and rewards programs.

About You:

• Previous experience in a community pharmacy as a Dispensary Technician or Pharmacy Assistant
• Strong attention to detail, with a solid understanding of pharmacy processes and associated administrative tasks
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and collaborate effectively across various roles
• Customer-focused approach, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care
• Positive, proactive, and resourceful mindset
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service
• Experience in inventory management and a good understanding of pharmacy operations
• Proficiency in computer systems used for prescription processing, in particular, Minfos
