Unleashed Doggie Daycare in Highett, VIC is seeking an experienced Dog Groomer to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our furry clientele, ensuring they look and feel their best.

What you'll be doing

1. Bathing, brushing, and drying dogs with care and attention to detail

2. Trimming and shaping coats to breed or customer specifications

3. Clipping nails and cleaning ears

4. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive relationship with pet owners

5. Ensuring all grooming equipment is clean, well-maintained, and used safely

6. Adhering to all health and safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of dogs and staff

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a professional dog groomer, with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience

2. Experience in full service grooming and breed-specific cuts is essential

3. Strong knowledge of different dog breeds and their grooming requirements

4. Excellent handling skills and the ability to work calmly and patiently with dogs

5. Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of grooming

6. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

7. Certification in dog grooming or relevant training is highly desirable

8. Valid work visa or Australian work rights are required for this position

9. Minimum availability of 2-3 days per week is required
