Occupational Therapist - Senior

We're excited to welcome an Occupational Therapist, to the Allied Health Women's and Children's Services Team.

Occupational Therapy clinicians within Women's and Children's Services work as a team to meet clinical demand in keeping with Clinical Prioritisation Document. Staff will be required to work across other clinical services and facilities within Women's and Children's Services as required to assist in meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Deliver independent high level Occupational Therapy clinical practice across the breadth of the women's and children's directorate with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
• Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Occupational Therapy practitioners and students as delegated.

Remuneration value up to $62 944 p.a, comprising salary rates $64.64 - $69.55p.h., (part time, 30.4 hrs p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%)  Applications will remain current for 12 months.
