Retail Merchandiser

As a BIG Merchandiser, you will manage an allocated territory, fostering relationships with key retailers. In this ongoing casual role, you’ll ensure operational excellence through precise task execution - covering everything from replenishment and ticketing to display builds, compliance audits, new product launches and more.

About The Role

Territory: BALLARAT and surrounds

Hours: Average of 18 hours per week based on business needs (no guaranteed minimum hrs)

Availability: Wednesday to Friday availability is essential; flexibility for Monday and Tuesday is highly regarded.

Essential: Driver license and car

Key Responsibilities

Driving strong relationships with store personnelBuilding and maintaining quality displays in storeNegotiating promotional spaceExecuting planogramsSubmit tasks & quality photos daily via smartphone/tabletRepresent BIG and our clients positively and professionallySafely performing the physical requirements, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.

Successful candidate will need:

Supermarket, retail, pharmacy or liquor experience is highly desirableA current Australian driver’s licence and vehicleStrong & friendly communication, organisational skills and attention to detailAn ability to work autonomouslyAbility to perform the physical & repetitive requirements of the role
