Operations Manager – Solar & Electrical

This is not a coordinator role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership.

Technaus Solar is looking for a high-calibre Operations Manager to take full ownership of our post-sale operations and drive the performance, efficiency and accountability of our installation network.

This is a senior position for an experienced A-Grade Electrician and operational leader who understands the solar industry, knows how installations should run and isn't afraid to hold people accountable.

You will be the key operational link between sales, customers, installers and management, ensuring every job moves from sale to installation efficiently, professionally and profitably.

THE ROLE

You will take responsibility for the daily operational performance of the business after a sale is made.

This includes:

• Taking ownership of the entire post-sale process

• Managing and coordinating our installation network

• Directly liaising with installers, electricians and contractors

• Ensuring jobs are scheduled, progressing and completed on time

• Identifying bottlenecks and fixing problems before they become customer issues

• Managing installation quality, standards and accountability

• Resolving escalations quickly and effectively

• Working closely with sales to ensure sold jobs are operationally viable

• Managing communication between customers, installers and internal teams

• Monitoring job performance, productivity and completion rates

• Implementing systems and processes that improve operational efficiency

• Identifying operational risks and putting solutions in place

• Providing management with clear visibility of operational performance

• Taking ownership when things go wrong and finding the solution

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LEADER — NOT AN ADMINISTRATOR

You need to be someone who can walk into a problem, understand it quickly and fix it.

You will be expected to make decisions, manage people, challenge poor performance and continuously improve the way the business operates.

The right person will be:

• An A-Grade Electrician – ESSENTIAL

• Holder of a Full Australian Driver's Licence – ESSENTIAL

• Highly experienced within the solar and electrical industry

• Experienced managing installers, contractors or operational teams

• Commercially minded and results-driven

• Extremely organised and able to manage multiple priorities

• A strong communicator who can deal confidently with customers, installers and senior management

• Comfortable having difficult conversations and holding people accountable

• A strong problem solver who doesn't wait to be told what to do

• Process-driven, but capable of thinking outside the box when required

• Someone who naturally takes ownership and follows things through to completion

THE PACKAGE

$200,000+ OTE per annum
