Ocean Export Operator

Based in Arndell Park (near Blacktown), we are looking for an Ocean Export Operator to join our team. This is a full time (on-site) permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with export bookings and shipment coordination

• Liaise with shipping lines, co-loaders, transport providers and customers

• Monitor shipment milestones and container movements

• Lodging EDNS and PRAs

• Support export documentation and operational processes

• Assist with Bills of Lading, pre-alerts and customer communication

• Update shipment information within Cargowise and internal systems

• Work closely with the broader operations team

• Invoice clients for services provided

 To be successful in this role:

• Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience

• Previous exposure to ocean freight operations or international freight forwarding

• Strong communication skills including verbal and written

• A desire to expand your knowledge of international ocean freight operations

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

• Takes pride in providing a high level of customer service

• Excellent level of attention to detail and organisation skills

• Able to work as part of a team

• Exposure to Cargowise system, an advantage but not essential
