Quality Assurance Officer

Nature One Dairy is dedicated to producing only the highest quality powdered and liquid milk products. We produce a range of dairy products specifically designed for every age group ranging from infants to the elderly and everything in-between. With the manufacturing site located in Carrum Downs Victoria, our vision is to be a Global Dairy Company. 

Nature One Dairy is certified by the Department of Agriculture to be an Export Registered Establishment as having achieved standards in good hygienic practice, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), product integrity and importing country requirements. We are also a licensed facility by Dairy Food Safety Victoria (DFSV).

Quality Assurance Officer

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Officer for this full time permanent position. Your main responsibilities as a Quality Assurance Officer include but are not limited to -

• Assisting in the maintenance of quality systems (HACCP, SQF, GMP)

• Assisting with Quality Assurance documentation

• Assisting with sample testing in-line and laboratory testing

• Assist in monitoring production processes and practices to ensure all standards are being met as safety and quality is of the utmost importance

• Assisting in internal audits and providing support during 3rd party external audits

• Liaising with a variety of internal employees including production and warehouse

• Assist in batch-blending of micro ingredients according to formula

Well developed interpersonal and communication skills are critical to the success of this position. You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be required to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will possess initiative, enthusiasm, have the ability to have input in crucial decisions, comes with relevant degree in food technology or food manufacturing and an eagerness to progress within the company.

To be successful for this role, you will possess the following -

• Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related discipline

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Officer in food manufacturing

• Possess an understanding of Quality Assurance systems and processes within a food manufacturing environment.
