About the Role:
Our Officer Fields centre and are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Educational Leader to join our pioneering team. Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education, Graduate Diploma, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or Masters qualification
• Current Employee Working with Children Check
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Responding to abuse and neglect training
• Organised and detail-oriented mindset
• Initiative, integrity, and a strong sense of teamwork
• Enthusiastic approach to Early Years Education
• Montessori qualifications or experience (highly desirable)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support room leaders with adding families/staff to Tapestry
• Review and update plans and programs to ensure they are current and aligned with Montessori principles
• Read through and approve the ‘Montessori Report’ for each room
• Oversee fortnightly programming and observations:
• Ensure the centre follows the AMIGA yearly topics calendar and that any necessary resources are requested
• Verify all rooms’ programs and plans are up to date
• Support adherence to the AMIGA Observation Policy
• Assist in planning and executing inclusions and excursions
• Communicate with parents regarding Montessori practices and programming
• Help schedule and conduct parent-teacher interviews
• Work alongside the Centre Manager/2IC in preparing for all centre events
