Arndell Anglican College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Secondary School English Teacher to join our dedicated team from Term 1, 2027. About the Role

The successful applicant will:

• Teach Stage 4, 5 and 6 English classes.

• Design and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences that cater to diverse learning needs.

• Prepare students for NAPLAN, competitions and Higher School Certificate examinations.

• Develop and implement effective assessment and feedback practices.

• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Foster positive student wellbeing and academic growth.

• Participate fully in the life of the College, including pastoral care, co-curricular activities, camps and community events.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold recognised teaching qualifications and current NESA accreditation.

• Have experience teaching Stage 4, 5 and 6 English.

• Demonstrate strong classroom management and contemporary pedagogical practice.

• Be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Be committed to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.

• Support and actively contribute to the Christian ethos and mission of the College.

• Be an active member of a reformed evangelical Christian church.
