About us
Music Industry College is a senior secondary school in Fortitude Valley offering Year 11 and 12 students the opportunity to study for their Queensland Certificate of Education in a tertiary-style environment. Our focus is to empower young people to succeed in the music industry and in life. MIC has 90 students enrolled per year allowing class sizes to be smaller. Many students arrive having found that a conventional school setting did not suit them, and they leave with a successful outcome for QCE, an ATAR if needed, and a much clearer sense of where they are heading. Our teachers are experienced, qualified and enthusiastic with most of them actively involved in the music industry. The College works closely with industry professionals across Brisbane.
What we offer
$106,339 – $129,923 plus superannuation (currently 12%), reviewed annually with CPI 1st September
5* weeks annual leave including 17½% loading
A proper handover, with 8 weeks alongside our outgoing Business Manager
A small, supportive team and a school that is a genuinely enjoyable place to work
