About the role
We are looking for an experienced flexographic printer to set up and operate the Nilpeter FA-26 flexographic press. You will produce high-quality process and spot colour print, manage UV/LED ink and curing systems, and ensure consistent print quality throughout production runs on flexible film substrates.
Key responsibilities
Set up and operate the Nilpeter FA-26 flexographic press
Produce high-quality process and spot colour print
Set and maintain accurate colour, register and impression
Set up printing plates, anilox sleeves and ink systems
Operate and manage UV/LED ink and curing systems
Monitor and maintain consistent print quality throughout production runs
Manage web tension and register across flexible film substrates
Complete job changeovers efficiently while minimising setup time and waste
Identify and troubleshoot print defects and production issues
Conduct quality checks to ensure finished product meets customer specifications
About you
Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses
Strong knowledge of flexographic printing processes
Experience printing flexible films and packaging substrates
Good understanding of process and spot colour printing
Strong colour matching and colour control skills
Experience with anilox selection, plate mounting and impression setting
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to print quality
Ability to work efficiently while controlling waste and downtime
A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
