About the role
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards.
Key responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard
Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation requirements
Assist with menu preparation and contribute ideas for new dishes
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
Ensure all food is stored, prepared and handled in accordance with food safety regulations
Monitor food quality, freshness and presentation
Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients when required
Minimise food waste and maintain effective portion control
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
About you
Previous experience working as a Chef or in a commercial kitchen
Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Reliable, hardworking and positive attitude
