Experienced Dental Assistant

Hello! We're a welcoming and friendly practice in Toorak that covers all general and major dental procedures and are seeking Dental Assistant or an eager individual looking to enter a dental assistant traineeship in our stunning Australian Interior Design Award Shortlisted clinic!

You will be working alongside our team in a friendly, dynamic, patient-focused environment.

*Dental Cert III qualification or minimum of 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant required

Role summary

This position is varied and includes involvement in and coordination of a range of duties encouraging the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic

• Chair-side assisting

• Maintaining stock

• Sterilisation and infection control

• Managing patient enquiries, appointment bookings, etc.

• Processing accounts/familiar with HICAPS preferable

• Administration tasks as required

• Reception/Front Desk experience looked upon but not necessary

Requirements

The successful candidate will –

• A friendly, approachable personality who takes initiative, is eager to learn in a friendly positive environment and thrives in delivering excellent customer/patient service

• Have demonstrable experience as a dental nurse and receptionist (minumum of 2 years)

• Be committed to ensuring our patients and professionalism are our number one focus

• Be confident, reliable, honest and an excellent team-player with a strong sense of initiative

Salary is based on experience level and on-site performance

*Bonus incentive structure on top of base salary
