About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ,enthusiastic, motivated, caring, and energetic Practice Nurse to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting our doctors and providing high-quality patient care.

Minimum of 2 years experience in general practice nursing is essential. We welcome applicants who are motivated to learn, adaptable, and proactive in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting GPs with patient care and clinical procedures

• Immunisations and vaccine management

• Wound care and dressings

• Health assessments and chronic disease management support

• Assisting Iron infusions and other nurse-led clinics (training provided if required)

• Sterilisation and infection control

• ECGs, spirometry, and other basic diagnostic procedures

• Patient education and health promotion

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

• Supporting smooth day-to-day clinic operations

• stock management and ordering

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and administrative staff

• General practice experience is essential

Desirable

• Experience with Best Practice software and recall/reminder systems

• IV cannulation skills or willingness to learn

• Understanding of Medicare item numbers relevant to general practice

• Familiarity with general practice accreditation standards

What We Offer

• Remuneration negotiable, commensurate with experience(Competitive hourly rate (45$ -55 $ Casual rate depending on experience)

• Casual position initially , with a strong possibility of transitioning to part-time or full-time permanent for the right candidate after the initial few months

• Flexible hours: initially 12–20 hours per week depending on candidate availability and clinic's demand
