Service Advisor

We are looking for a professional and experienced Service Advisor to join our Service department at Hurstville Toyota. This role is an excellent opportunity to utilise your previously honed skills in the customer experience environment or automotive trade. You will be dealing with our customers daily and fulfilling their vehicle needs. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses exceptional communication skills and is determined to be successful in their career. You will have professional experience working within a dealership environment. This role involves face to face customer contact and requires the successful applicant to provide exceptional customer service.

Working closely with the Service Manager and our service department team, you will be responsible for:

• Meeting our customers, taking enquiries and service bookings

• Writing up repair orders

• Keeping customers up to date with vehicle progress

• Estimating the cost and time needed to complete a job

• Liaising with the Workshop Controller to ensure all work is carried out in the allocated time frame

• Gaining authorisation for extra work

• Handling customer complaints

As our ideal candidate you will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Highly motivated & customer service focused

• Multi lingual - ability to speak Chinese, Mandarin or Cantonese

• Good organisational skills

• Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task where required

• Ability to contribute to building a positive team spirit

• Hold a current and valid manual driver's license

• Service Advisor experience advantageous, but not necessary
