The Opportunity

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist qualified tradespeople with repairs, maintenance, and equipment setups
• Support work scheduling, job preparation, and basic documentation
• Handle materials, tooling, and workshop equipment safely
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and organised workspace
• Complete required reports and paperwork in a timely manner
• Assist with servicing and maintaining rental fleet equipment under guidance

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or a qualified Light Vehicle mechanic with a strong interest in progressing toward Heavy Diesel Qualifications
• Previous hand and power tooling experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
• An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
