Inventory Controller & Warehouse Administrator (3PL)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller & Warehouse Administrator to join our fast-paced third-party logistics (3PL) operation. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service through efficient stock control and administration.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple client accounts.

• Perform daily cycle counts and coordinate scheduled stocktakes.

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.

• Monitor stock movements, adjustments, and reconciliations.

• Process inbound and outbound inventory transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Prepare inventory and operational reports for management and customers.

• Coordinate customer inventory enquiries and resolve issues professionally.

• Liaise with warehouse supervisors, transport providers, and customer service teams.

• Ensure all inventory processes comply with company procedures and client requirements.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

About you

• Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory control within a 3PL or warehousing environment.

• Strong experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with inventory data.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High level of accuracy and accountability.
