Knighton is a leading provider of refrigerated transport and storage services. Predominately servicing the food industry, our customers are largely food manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers.

About the role

As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for a Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver based out of our Central Coast depot. The role will include refrigerated palletised deliveries across the Central Coast, Newcastle and regional areas of NSW. 

Your key responsibilities:

• Pickup and delivery of palletised goods across metropolitan Sydney and regional NSW

• Ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate 

• Maintaining your vehicle in clean and tidy condition and raising any mechanical issues

To be successful, you will have:

• A HC License and at least 3 years of relevant driving experience

• Proven dock experience with ideally multiple pickup / delivery locations

• The ability to work well within a team environment

• Excellent communication and time management skills to meet delivery timeslots 

• Pride in your work and an enthusiastic, ‘can do’ attitude

• A commitment to workplace health and safety 

Ideally, you will also have:

• Previous refrigerated transport experience 

• Experience using a Transport Management System for electronic POD’s

What we offer

• $44 to $45 per hour plus superannuation, which includes guaranteed overtime, for up to a 58 hour week

• Monday to Friday work only (no weekend work)

• Although casual contract, work is 5 days per week regular with opportunity to go permanent after probation
