The Role

We're looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to deliver wholesale meat products to our trade customers across Melbourne and surrounds. Our fleet includes vans and small trucks that can be driven on a standard car licence.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Deliver wholesale meat products to customers on time and in full
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes and time schedules
• Load, unload, inspect and operate the delivery vehicle
• Collect payments from customers where required
• Complete delivery logs and paperwork accurately
• Maintain the cold chain and follow food safety and industrial safety standards at all times

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid car driver's licence — our vans and small trucks can be driven on a standard car licence
• HR licence not essential, but highly regarded
• Previous experience as a delivery driver
• Comfortable with regular manual handling (loading and unloading meat cartons)
• Reliable, punctual and well presented
• Good communication skills for dealing with customers on delivery runs
• Understanding of food handling and safety standards, or willingness to learn
