Commercial Housekeeper

About the role

This is a hands-on, site-based role working across a range of luxury holiday homes and commercial properties. The position combines regular housekeeping and cleaning duties with responsibility for maintaining high standards, supporting and supervising staff and assisting with the day-to-day coordination of housekeeping operations.

Key responsibilities

• Hands-on commercial housekeeping and cleaning across client properties
• Maintaining consistently high cleaning and presentation standards
• Supervising, supporting and training housekeeping staff
• Conducting property inspections and quality-control checks
• Implementing and maintaining cleaning procedures, policies and property-specific requirements
• Assisting with staff rostering, scheduling and daily workflow
• Coordinating linen, cleaning products, stock and guest supply requirements
• Identifying and reporting maintenance and property issues
• Communicating effectively with clients, staff, supervisors and management
• Supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the housekeeping team

About you

• Experienced housekeeping or commercial cleaning professional with excellent attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills and genuine commitment to maintaining high standards
• Strong background in the cleaning, housekeeping or accommodation industry preferred
• Previous experience supervising or managing staff, rostering, training team members and coordinating housekeeping operations highly regarded
• Reliable, organised and comfortable working independently as well as leading and working alongside a team
• Available to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle essential
