Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.Design and optimise PostgreSQL/SQL Server databases.Build event-driven applications using Kafka and/or IBM MQ.Develop unit, integration and contract tests.Deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.Work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable backend solutions.
Must-Have SkillsJava 11+Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring SecurityMicroservices – 2+ yearsREST API DevelopmentPostgreSQL / SQL ServerKafka and/or IBM MQJUnit 5, MockitoDocker & KubernetesCI/CDGit, Bitbucket & Artifactory
Desirable: Python, AWS/Azure, SWIFT Messaging, Trade Finance/Banking, Temporal/Camunda, Drools, Testcontainers and Pact/Spring Cloud Contract.
