About the role
Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation (AAC) is evolving.
As part of an exciting internal restructure designed to strengthen leadership, improve service delivery and create new opportunities across the organisation, an opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Site Manager – Employment Services based in Tom Price.
This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall performance, service delivery and operational management of the Tom Price site. Reporting directly to the Employment Services Manager, you will lead a dedicated team delivering employment, participation, workforce development and community based initiatives that create meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal people and communities.
This diverse and rewarding role includes responsibility for:
Leading, coaching and developing a multidisciplinary team
Managing day-to-day site operations and service delivery
Driving employment, participation and retention outcomes
Building strong relationships with employers, community members, government agencies and stakeholders
Overseeing workforce development initiatives and participant support services
Coordinating community-led projects and activities
Ensuring compliance with funding agreements, contractual requirements and organisational policies
Managing operational performance, reporting and continuous improvement
Promoting culturally safe, strengths-based and trauma-informed service delivery
Fostering a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, wellbeing and teamwork
Supporting WHS compliance and maintaining a safe working environment
Monitoring budgets and ensuring effective use of program funding and resources
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
Experience in employment services, community services, workforce development or related sectors
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
Experience managing operational performance, compliance and reporting requirements
Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
A commitment to culturally safe ways of working with Aboriginal people and communities
Sound administrative and computer skills
Current Driver's Licence
Ability to travel within Western Australia as required
