Boilermaker/fabricator

About the role

TSM Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator to join our team in Berrinba, Queensland. This full-time role will see you contributing to the production and fabrication of high-quality industrial equipment and components.

What you'll be doing

1. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

2. Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components using welding, soldering, and other fabrication techniques

3. Operating a variety of specialised tools and machinery, including grinders, saws, and power tools

4. Performing quality checks and making adjustments to ensure finished products meet required standards

5. Collaborating with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues

6. Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualifications in boilermaking, metal fabrication, or a related trade

2. Applicants must hold a recognised trade qualification in boilermaking or metal fabrication

3. Demonstrated experience as a boilermaker or fabricator, ideally in the manufacturing or engineering industries

4. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a boilermaker or fabricator is required

5. Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings

6. Proficiency in using a range of welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding

7. A commitment to workplace safety and quality control

8. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
