Truck Driver

About the role

NN Group Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and professional Truck Driver to join our transport operations team. This is a full-time position based in Clayton, VIC 3168. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery whilst maintaining the highest standards of road safety and customer service. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for reliable and professional transport services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all applicable traffic laws and regulations

• Plan and manage delivery routes to ensure goods are transported on time and in optimal condition

• Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns

• Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery documentation and vehicle maintenance records

• Load and secure cargo appropriately, ensuring compliance with weight distribution and safety requirements

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers and management regarding delivery status and any issues encountered

• Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies

• Maintain professional conduct with customers and represent NN Group Australia Pty Ltd in a positive manner

• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times

What we're looking for

Heavy Combination (HC) Driver's Licence with current Medical Certificate

• Proven experience as a professional truck driver, with a clean driving record

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance requirements

• Excellent time management and route planning abilities

• Professional communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling duties as required

• High level of responsibility and commitment to safety standards

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early starts
