Senior Associate Secondary and Protection Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver advanced Substation Secondary systems for distribution and transmission networks (22kV to 500kV).
• Ensure strict adherence to Jacobs' quality assurance procedures and technical standards
• Lead and manage engineering projects within defined scopes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Foster effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, primary electrical).
• Contribute to proposal development, including scope definition and cost estimation.
• Engage with regional clients, providing expert technical advice and supporting business growth.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, enhancing our team's capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
• Experience in High Voltage Secondary Substation design and project delivery.
• Proven ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
• Demonstrated capability in managing and providing technical leadership to design teams, including Global Delivery Centres.
• Strong track record in managing design projects in compliance with quality management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
