Workshop Assistant - Hose Assembly & Testing, Storeperson

The Role

We are looking for a reliable Workshop labourer to join our Welshpool facility.

This role is in our warehouse & workshop working with a close-knit team carrying out hose assembling, crimping and testing, as well as general warehouse duties. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assembling and crimping a variety of industrial & hydraulic hose assemblies (training provided)

• Pressure testing of hose assemblies

• Packing orders, forklift operation and other general warehouse duties

• Adhere to HSE standards and quality control procedures

• Support and promote HoseCo’s values

Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who is:

• Solutions focused and technically minded

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

• Able to work closely with others in a team environment, as well as autonomously when required

• Willing to adapt to changing business requirements

• Physically fit

Our ideal candidate will have;

• Previous experience with hydraulic and industrial hose & fittings, however it is not necessary, and people with cross-industry experience & roles are highly encouraged to apply

• Forklift licence (ideal but not required)

• Experience in warehouse duties 

• Strong customer focus

The successful candidate will be required to provide a police check from within the last 12 months. A pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening may also be required.
