This part-time Veterinary Nurse position offers a diverse mix of clinical nursing responsibilities in a busy and rewarding practice environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and proceduresPre-operative and post-operative patient careSurgical preparation and theatre assistanceMonitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recoveryPerforming pathology collection and diagnostic testingAdministering medications and treatmentsCaring for hospitalised patientsMaintaining accurate patient recordsHandling client enquiries professionally in person, via email, and over the phoneMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection controlSupporting the day-to-day operation of the clinicThis is a hands-on role where your skills, initiative, and ability to work collaboratively will be highly valued.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary NursingHas strong clinical veterinary nursing experienceHas a strong understanding of veterinary nursing proceduresIs confident monitoring anaesthesiaDemonstrates excellent animal handling skillsHas outstanding communication and customer service abilitiesWorks well both independently and as part of a teamBrings a calm, friendly, and professional attitudeEnjoys working in a busy clinic environmentHas experience with RxWorks (highly regarded but not essential)Most importantly, you're passionate about animal welfare and enjoy being part of a team that genuinely cares about its patients, clients, and each other.
