We are seeking two passionate and motivated Employee Development Coordinators, with positions available at our Netley and Para Hills West sites, to join our team and support people with disability to achieve their employment, vocational and personal goals.

About the Role
Reporting to the Employee Development Manager, the Employee Development Coordinator is responsible for delivering employment-focused training, development and support services for employees with disability within Orana's employment services.
Working closely with employees, operational teams, families, advocates and external stakeholders, you will develop and implement training programs, vocational plans, workplace support strategies and assessments that build skills, increase workplace participation and promote independence.
This role plays a key part in creating positive employment outcomes while ensuring services remain person-centred, outcome-focused and compliant with NDIS and organisational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Development & Training
Develop, implement and review individual employment development plans, vocational plans and workplace support strategies.
Deliver training, mentoring and capacity-building initiatives that support employees to achieve their employment and personal goals.
Promote employee rights, choice, dignity, inclusion and independence.
Support employees to understand workplace expectations, rights and responsibilities.
Assist operational teams to implement workplace adjustments and strategies that enhance employee participation and success.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with employees, families, guardians, advocates, support coordinators and allied health professionals.
Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to deliver coordinated support and positive employment outcomes.
Participate in planning meetings, reviews and stakeholder consultations.
Administration & Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records, vocational plans and documentation.
Monitor employee progress and contribute to reporting and outcome measurement activities.
Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Supported Employment requirements, organisational policies and legislative obligations.
Participate in audits, quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing
Promote safe work practices and inclusive workplace environments.
Identify and report workplace risks and hazards.
Contribute to a positive culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential Requirements
Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, Employment Services or a related field.
Experience supporting people with disability in employment, vocational, training, community or human services environments.
Strong understanding of person-centred practice, capacity building and supported employment principles.
Excellent communication, relationship-building and mentoring skills.
Strong administration, documentation and organisational skills.
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and client management systems.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
Tertiary qualification in Disability, Human Services, Psychology, Developmental Education, Social Work, Education, Employment Services or a related discipline.
Experience working within an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) or supported employment environment.
Knowledge of NDIS-funded services, Supported Wage System (SWS) assessments, employment pathways and transition-to-work programs.
Experience delivering vocational training, workforce participation or skills development programs.
Mandatory Compliance Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to hold or obtain:
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Australian Drivers Licence
National Police Check.
Working with Children Check.
NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
Any additional checks required under legislation or organisational policy.
