About the role
About UNSW:
UNSW isn’t like other places you’ve worked. Yes, we’re a large organisation with a diverse and talented community, a community doing extraordinary things. Together, we are driven to be thoughtful, practical, and purposeful in all we do. Taking this combined approach is what makes our work matter. If you want a career where you can thrive, be challenged and do meaningful work, you’re in the right place.
Why Your Role Matters:
UNSW is rolling out a new Learning Management System (LMS), approved in June 2026, as a major university-wide transformation by 2030. Delivered faculty by faculty and aligned with the 2028 Flex-Semester transition for early adopting faculties, it will reshape teaching and learning.
The LMS Program goes beyond technology, combining change, training, and engagement through a human-centred design approach. Joining now means contributing to a high-impact initiative with strong leadership and a multidisciplinary team.
As LMS Ecosystem BA / SME, you will play a key role within the LMS Program, establish and continuously drive and guide the understanding of our student, faculty, and divisions for this complex multi-year transformation.
In this influential role, you will work across business and technology teams to define requirements, improve processes, and identify data-driven solutions that are practical, scalable, and aligned with institutional priorities. Your ability to translate complex needs into clear recommendations will help shape successful project outcomes and enhance organisational capability.
Understanding the LMS ecosystem, you will act as a trusted advisor, influencing key business and technology decisions, ensuring strategic initiatives are supported by robust analysis and a deep understanding of stakeholder needs. You will build strong relationships across the University and play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions that drive continuous improvement.
Beyond project delivery, you will contribute to the ongoing development of UNSW's business analysis practice by mentoring analysts, promoting best-practice approaches, and strengthening frameworks, standards, and tools. This is an exciting opportunity to make your mark in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment while contributing to the future success of one of Australia's leading universities.
