The position

As a Community Support Assistant, you will provide personalised care and support to ageing clients within their homes and community.

The role focuses on helping clients maintain their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life through assistance with daily living activities, social support, personal care, domestic assistance, and transport services where required.

What’s Required

Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (Aging) or equivalent, or Certificate IV in Aged care or Ageing SupportA current Victorian driver’s licence and access to a fully insured (comprehensive), registered vehicle for travel between client homesWillingness to obtain - First Aid, CPR & Police checkPrevious experience at an Aged Care facility (desired)Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to converse and relate to older people with understanding, patience and sensitivityStrong commitment to client service and careTeam focused and supportive of colleaguesAble to work without supervisionSelf-motivated and positive in outlookAbility to prioritise and organise to meet timeframes
