Host & Cafe All-rounder

XS Espresso Menai is on the lookout for a dynamic and social All-Rounder to join our front of house crew.

We are a fast-paced, high-volume store known for big coffee, big shakes and even bigger energy. If you like a busy floor, good music and a team that actually enjoys the shift, you will fit right in.

The role involves:

- Greeting customers at the door of the venue

- Assigning customers to a relevant table, explaining how to order and providing them with menus

- Running out food and drinks and confirming all items go to the right table

- Taking orders and operating the POS, cash and card

- Backing up the coffee machine and dessert bar during peak periods

- Checking on customers and providing feedback to managers on customer experience

- Keeping the store clean, stocked and presentable

- Opening and closing duties as rostered

The ideal candidate will have:

- Some cafe or hospitality experience, barista experience is a big plus and we will train the rest

- Great customer service and presentation

- The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

- Availability on a flexible rotating roster for morning to afternoon and afternoon to night shifts

- Availability on nights and weekends

- Driver's license or ability to travel to Menai for rostered shifts

- Full working rights in Australia

- Available to work throughout the Christmas holiday period
