Deflector Site Overview

Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160km east of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector South West deposits.

The purpose of this position is to deliver high-quality and timely haulage services using underground trucks, and also to assist with jumbo development as required.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Operate underground trucks on the primary underground and surface haul routes
• Ensure that material is hauled to the correct destination
• Safe transportation, delivery and set up of ground support and other jumbo development related activities in line with the shift plan
• Assist in maintaining truck and light vehicle equipment cleanliness, upkeep, and minor troubleshooting during operations.
• Record and submit accurate shift reports, production records, and maintenance logs

About You:

• Minimum 1 year experience in UG operations
• WA Driver’s License (Manual C Class)
• WA Dangerous Goods & Security Card (DGSC)
• Truck competency (site VOC)
• Nipper competency (site VOC)
