W Brisbane located at 81 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring a Full Time Pastry Demi Chef. As a Pastry Demi Chef in a luxury hotel, you will have the opportunity to uphold the exceptional culinary standards expected in a premium hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include: 

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklists
• Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, efficient service, and smooth kitchen operations
• Support the senior Pastry chefs by ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation while upholding all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation protocols
• Contribute to mentoring and guiding junior chefs and kitchen team members as needed
• Ensure the work station is organized, restocked and adhering to hygiene and safety standards
• The best hotel training opportunities produced independently by W Brisbane and internationally recognized training programs by Marriott International.
