The University Department of Rural Health South West is an academic centre based in the South West of Western Australia which focuses on health education, research and workforce strategies to support the recruitment and retention of health professionals in the region.

About the Opportunity

The Project Officer – South West Multidisciplinary Mobile Simulation Program will support the planning, coordination and delivery of an innovative, regionally focused simulation-based training initiative. 

Working closely with the UDRH SW Leadership Team and key stakeholders, the role will drive project implementation, stakeholder engagement and program sustainability to strengthen the rural health workforce and improve community health outcomes across the South West.

About you

You are a proactive and organised professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working across disciplines. You bring;

• Professional qualification and/or practical experience in an education or health-related field, ideally with experience in rural or remote contexts.
• Experience in project coordination or program delivery, ideally within a health, education or community setting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to work across diverse groups.
• An interest in innovative learning approaches, including simulation and digital education tools.
• A genuine commitment to improving rural health outcomes and supporting equitable access to education.

Importantly, you will demonstrate personal attributes that align with the University’s values.
