SAP Test Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Test Consultant to join our innovative Quality Assurance team at Tritusa. In this role, you will lead the design, execution, and management of testing strategies for SAP systems, ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of SAP implementations (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors). You will collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and clients to deliver robust testing solutions that align with business requirements. Your Role and Responsibilities

• Self-initiated: Proactively apply testing techniques, test plans, and test cases to enforce the quality of the system to support BAU and new implementations as required by the platform.
  
• Project/Program-initiated: Develop test cases against the requirements and plans for their execution within the timelines specified by the initiatives.
  
• Assist the Test manager with test effort estimates in accordance with the amount of project delivery information available.
  
• Perform functional and non-functional testing for SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM) to ensure compliance with business processes.
  
• Conduct end-to-end testing for SAP integrations with non-SAP systems, validating interfaces (e.g., IDOC, RFC, OData, SOAP, REST).
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, resolve defects, and ensure seamless SAP implementations.
  
• Leverage test management tools to track test execution, defects, and reporting, ensuring traceability and auditability.
  
• Support SAP system upgrades, migrations (e.g., S/4HANA), and enhancements by validating system functionality and performance.
  
• Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines, aligning with Agile and DevOps methodologies for continuous quality assurance.
  
• Provide training and support to end-users during UAT phases, ensuring smooth adoption of SAP solutions.
  

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for candidates with a combination of the following:   

• You must have demonstrable, a minimum of 5 years of testing experience with multiple SAP testing projects.
  
• Must have at least 2 years of experience working for a large organisation in a complex environment with a medium to large team.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in Microfocus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
  
• Strong stakeholder management skills
  
• Hands-on experience in SOLMAN, ARIS, and MS Teams
  
• Strong knowledge of system testing techniques, methods, and approaches used in testing SAP modules.
  
• Familiarity with testing types and techniques such as requirements testing, functional testing, regression testing, risk-based testing, data integrity testing, API testing, negative testing, string testing, production verification testing, and comparative testing.
  
• Strong knowledge of testing cycles, test tools, and defect-tracking processes.
  
• Be able to prepare test environment specifications, test cases, and test plans as needed.
  
• Knowledge of SAP testing tools (e.g., Focused Build, Test Automation Tool) or third-party tools for test automation.
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, SAP BTP) for testing SAP cloud solutions.
