All-Rounder Couple – Tropic Breeze Caravan Park, Port Douglas

Part-Time | 13 months  | 3 days per week | 9:00am–5:00pm | Port Douglas, QLD

Tropic Breeze Caravan Park is looking for a reliable, capable, and guest-focused couple to join our team in beautiful Port Douglas.

This is an opportunity for an experienced all-rounder couple who take pride in their work, enjoy meeting people and are looking for a stable part-time role in a friendly, well-run caravan park at the heart of one of Australia’s premier destinations.

The Role

Working as a team and with support from management, you’ll help keep Tropic Breeze looking its best and ensure our guests receive the welcoming, personable experience we pride ourselves on. We see a lot of returning long-term guests every year so experience in the industry and a good reference will be looked upon favourably. Included in the role is a powered site with cement slab, water, and grey-water drain. You will need your own caravan.

Duties will include:

●       Guest service and assisting with enquiries

●       Cleaning and maintaining park facilities, units (including making beds), and amenities as needed

●       Grounds maintenance, gardening and general upkeep

●       Assisting with arrivals, departures and day-to-day park operations

●       Basic maintenance and handyman tasks

●       Watching after-hours emergency phone on rostered days

●       Keeping common areas, sites and facilities presented to a high standard

●       Working together as a team to ensure the park runs smoothly

What We’re Looking For / Who you are

We’re looking for a couple who are:

●       Reliable, honest and genuinely hardworking

●       Well presented and personable

●       Friendly and confident dealing with guests

●       Practical and capable of working independently

●       Comfortable with cleaning, gardening and general maintenance

●       Proactive — you see what needs doing and get stuck in

●       Physically capable of the demands of an active outdoor role

●       Able to work well together and as part of a small team

●       A current driver's licence.

●       Experienced in the industries of caravan parks, hospitality, accommodation, tourism, cleaning, grounds or maintenance (preferred, but not essential)

●       Experience with Newbook or other reservations systems (preferred, but not essential)

What We Offer - Hours & Remuneration

3 consecutive days per week [usually Tue-Thu], 9:00am–5:00pm. 13 months. + powered site inclusion.

We are looking for a couple who can commit reliably to their roster and who are interested in becoming valued members of our team. The role is paid at the award rate + powered site inclusion. You will also be eligible for free or heavily discounted familiarisation packages to our natural wonders and local attractions for the duration of your employment.
