We are committed to delivering high-quality education, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and supporting students throughout their academic journey.

We are seeking a driven and organised Talent Manager to join our team on a full time fixed term basis for 2 years. This role offers the opportunity to own the current end-to-end recruitment practice for the College, with a focus on the design of a contemporary recruitment and selection framework.
Your day to day will consist of:

This means representing UNSW College at career fairs, graduate and industry events, and campus outreach activities, and activating the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) across all external-facing channels, including the careers site, advertising platforms, social media and event collateral.
Partnering with business leaders across all divisions to understand current and future talent needs, translate those needs into targeted sourcing and pipeline strategies, and ensure recruitment activity is aligned to the College's workforce plan and strategic direction.
Designing and operating the College's sourcing strategy across direct sourcing, talent pools, employee referrals, agency partners and social channels. This includes curating talent pools for repeat-hire and high-volume cohorts, such as Academic English teachers, with a deliberate balance between direct and agency channels.
Actively managing end-to-end recruitment for specialised, senior or priority roles as required, including executive searches, specialist academic appointments, psychometric testing, and roles where a hands-on approach is warranted by complexity, seniority or stakeholder sensitivity

Experience designing and implementing a contemporary, end-to-end recruitment and selection framework.
Experience assessing modern sourcing strategy (direct sourcing, talent pools, LinkedIn Recruiter or equivalent, employee referral and balanced agency channel management), structured selection methodology (structured interviewing, scorecards, assessment design, bias mitigation and panel governance), and candidate experience design (service standards, measurement and continuous improvement across the candidate journey
Experience building an external talent pipeline and employer brand presence, including representing an employer at career fairs, graduate and campus events, and industry outreach activities, and translating business workforce needs into proactive sourcing and pipeline strategies
Experience personally managing end-to-end recruitment for senior, specialist or high-touch roles, including executive and academic appointments, where hands-on delivery is required alongside framework oversight
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and providing an outstanding student experience.
