The company is a national leader in the manufacture, distribution, and servicing of industrial, construction, and rural (farm) equipment. They have over 17 branch locations across Australia and New Zealand. They are a National Distributor of top-tier brands like Bobcat, Develon, Clark and Omega. They are renowned for their product range and breadth and have built a strong brand reputation for over 70 years through their technical competency gained in designing and manufacturing heavy equipment. Due to ongoing growth in the business, they are looking for a self-motivated and technically skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Field Service Technician to join their Cairns branch.

• Detection and diagnosis of mechanical and electrical faults in engines and components.
  
• Perform dismantling, repairing, and reassembling of mechanical components using service manuals.
  
• Conducting scheduled maintenance services.
  

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment or the Automotive Industry (mandatory)
  
• Valid Australian driver's license (mandatory)
  
• Automotive Air Conditioning license (desirable)
  
• Auto Electrical experience and diagnostic skills (desirable)
  
• MR, Forklift, EWP, plant, and LPG licenses (desirable)
  
• Experience in a similar role
  
• Proficiency in hydraulics and electrical circuits (desirable)
