Kitchen hand

Excellent casual or permanent part-time opportunity to join the team at Milkwood Bakery. We are looking for an energetic, dedicated, and experienced Kitchen Hand/Cleaner with a desire to work on the beautiful NSW South Coast in our Artisan Bakery.

You will need a great work ethic, a positive attitude, a passion for food, and a willingness to be an integral part of the team.

Your duties will include:

· Responsible for the daily shut-down procedures of the bakery.

· Regularly driving stock between our production kitchen and retail bakery in a business-provided vehicle.

· Kitchen cleaning & maintenance of kitchen equipment.

· Baking, preparation & handling of pies and sausage rolls.

· Setting and maintaining standards of end-of-day hygiene, cleaning, and procedures.

· Working together with members of an established kitchen team.

· Contributing to the efficient and seamless operation of our Artisan Bakery

· WH&S compliant with strict food hygiene practices.

· Award Wages (Restaurant Industry Award).

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· Previous experience in a similar environment (2 years minimum)

· Proven attention to detail, organisation & excellent communication

· Physically fit.

· Own transport required and Drivers Licence

· Ability & willingness to work various shifts.
