Opal Fibre Packaging Australia provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting opportunity for a Wastewater Services Technician to join the team at our site in Scoresby.

The main focus initially will be the water treatment plant but overtime the role would likely evolve to a broader process engineering position providing support to the site.

Other key duties of this role include:

• Lead quality monitoring and troubleshooting activities
• Perform testing activities
• Ensure results are adequately analysed, collated and reported
• Ensuring that manufacturing processes are within compliance standards
• Identifying opportunities for improvements to relevant processes
• Coordination with a wide range of internal and external customers and suppliers

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

• Prior experience working within fast-paced environments overseeing wastewater processes
• Prior experience in testing and compliance (this is a requirement for this role)
• Ability to learn and manage the wastewater process autonomously
• Experience working within wastewater would be highly advantageous
• The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to gather and interpret relevant data
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
