Area Manager | Munro Footwear Group

At Munro Footwear Group (MFG), we're looking for a commercially sharp, people-focused Area Manager to lead a portfolio of 13 stores across our Concession, Mountfords and Midas VIC and TAS locations.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll influence performance at scale, shape team capability, and deliver a consistent, standout customer experience across your region. You will partner closely with your Store Managers to drive results, elevate standards, and build high-performing teams.

You'll be hands-on, visible in stores, and deeply connected to your people and your results.

The role

• Lead, coach and develop Store Managers to deliver strong commercial outcomes
• Drive sales, profitability and KPI performance across 13 locations
• Ensure exceptional customer experiences across both in-store and omnichannel journeys
• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve performance
• Maintain high standards across operations, compliance, safety and visual presentation
• Build capability and succession across your region, strengthening your leadership pipeline
• Partner with Retail Leadership to align on strategy, priorities and execution

What you bring

• Proven experience leading multiple sites in a retail environment - 3+ years
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance and drive results
• A passion for people leadership, coaching and team development
• High energy, resilience and the ability to influence across a large portfolio
• Operational excellence with a sharp eye for detail and standards
• A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering consistent, quality experiences
