About the Role

As a Control Room Operator, you'll be responsible for monitoring CCTV, access control, alarms, and other security systems from a central control room. You'll coordinate responses to incidents, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional support to on-site security personnel while ensuring the smooth operation of security systems.

This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitoring CCTV, alarms, and electronic access control systems

• Responding promptly to alarms, incidents, and security events

• Coordinating with on-site security officers and emergency services when required

• Maintaining accurate incident logs and security documentation

• Monitoring building systems and reporting faults or irregularities

• Providing professional customer service and communication with clients and stakeholders

• Following established procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment

• Supporting continuous improvement of security operations

What We're Looking For

• Current NSW Security Licence

• Certificate II in Security Operations

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Previous Control Room or CCTV monitoring experience

• Strong computer literacy and confidence using multiple software systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and strong decision-making ability

• Professional presentation with a positive and reliable attitude
