Chef de Partie

About the role

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing an allocated kitchen section and ensuring consistently high standards of food preparation, cooking and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and operate your allocated kitchen section efficiently

• Complete daily mise en place and food preparation

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard

• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards

• Monitor section stock levels and minimise food waste

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

• Assist with coordinating and guiding junior kitchen staff

• Work effectively as part of a busy kitchen team

About you

• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent practical experience

• Previous Chef de Partie experience, or suitable experience as a Commis Chef/Cook

• The ability to confidently manage a busy kitchen section

• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures

• Excellent attention to detail and food-quality standards

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A positive, reliable and professional approach
