Selling Sales Manager

Range Ford is seeking an experienced and driven Selling Sales Manager to join our dealership in Maddington.

This is a hands-on leadership position combining the responsibilities of a Sales Manager with the day-to-day involvement of a successful Sales Consultant. You will lead, support and motivate the sales team while also managing your own customers, generating opportunities and closing vehicle sales.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching and supporting the sales team to achieve dealership targets

• Remaining actively involved in vehicle sales and managing your own customer pipeline

• Meeting and greeting customers and identifying their vehicle requirements

• Conducting vehicle presentations, demonstrations and test drives

• Managing enquiries, following up leads and developing new business opportunities

• Assisting the sales team with negotiations, deal structuring and closing sales

• Monitoring individual and department performance against agreed targets and KPIs

• Providing regular sales performance updates to the Dealer Principal

• Maintaining a high level of product and competitor knowledge

• Ensuring all sales documentation is completed accurately and promptly

• Coordinating with Finance, Pre-Delivery and other departments to ensure a smooth customer experience

• Building long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business

• Maintaining high standards of vehicle and dealership presentation

• Ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience throughout the sales process

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in automotive sales, ideally with previous leadership or management responsibilities

• A strong personal sales record and the ability to consistently achieve targets

• A hands-on leadership style and willingness to sell alongside the team

• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills

• The ability to coach, motivate and develop salespeople

• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction

• Sound commercial awareness and an understanding of sales performance, margins and expenses

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Confidence using dealership systems and managing customer enquiries

• A positive, professional and results-focused approach

• A current driver’s license

• A current WA Motor Vehicle Salesperson’s or Yard Manager’s License, or the ability to obtain the appropriate license
