Estimator

Maas Commercial  - DPC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial projects by preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tender submissions, and supporting project teams from pre-construction through to delivery.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for preparing estimates and tenders for residential construction projects while working closely with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Your ability to analyse plans, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver accurate pricing will directly contribute to the success and profitability of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop and maintain estimating databases and pricing schedules.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and project risks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
• Assist with contract reviews and project handovers.
• Monitor market pricing and industry trends.

About You

• Previous experience in estimating within commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
