Your Health Place Medical Centre is a well-established general practice in Castlemaine, dedicated to providing high-quality and patient-focused healthcare.

We are currently seeking a Practice Nurse to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, working every Monday and Tuesday.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in a general practice setting.

• Perform health assessments, chronic disease management, care plans, and preventive health activities.

• Administer vaccinations and support immunisation programs.

• Provide wound care, ECGs, spirometry, and other clinical procedures as required.

• Coordinate patient recalls, reminders, and follow-up care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Medical Director software.

• Work collaboratively with GPs, reception staff, and allied health professionals.

• Support quality improvement, infection prevention, and accreditation activities.

About You

• Current registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

• Previous experience in a general practice setting (preferred).

• Immunisation accreditation (or willingness to obtain).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• A proactive, compassionate, and patient-centred approach to care.

• Computer literate

• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
