Legal Secretary

About the role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join the firm on a full-time, permanent basis at the Fairfield office. You will be the first point of contact for the business, requiring a high level of written and verbal skills.

Key responsibilities

• Answering telephone calls and managing enquiries

• Opening legal files and assisting lawyers with the management of their files

• Reviewing and preparing responses to general email correspondence

• Maintaining stationery and office supplies

• Collection of mail on a daily basis

• General administrative duties including scanning, photocopying, filing and invoicing

• Managing solicitors' diary

About you

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with sound attention to detail

• Minimum of 2 years legal secretarial experience

• Utilizing time management skills and attention to detail to meet deadlines

• Enthusiastically interacting with clients on a daily basis

• A positive approach and good work ethic

• Familiarity with legal software Silq
