About Us
We are a small private business based in Smithfield and are looking for a Website Developer to join us and build a variety of websites.
The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional spoken and written English proficiency/comprehension, equivalent to first-language competency (Australian English conventions is essential).
Must also be an honourable person, with a strong sense of integrity and professionalism. An honourable person knows how to resolve language barriers.
The Role
As a Website Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality websites.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain websites using modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Ensure websites are responsive, optimized for performance, and compatible across browsers and devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Stay updated on industry trends and recommend improvements to enhance our web presence.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Website Developer (2+ years preferred).
Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework/library.
Familiarity with backend development (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python, or .NET) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in our Smithfield location.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Based in or willing to commute to Smithfield.
Must have the right to work in Australia.
