Workshop Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

With a strong reputation for excellence and a commitment to safety, we are expanding our team and seeking several highly skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters with OEM experience to join our operations across WA.

About the Role:

As a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter – You will play a critical role in our field service and planned maintenance teams, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of large-scale mining.

Roster: 5 - days / 7- nights 10 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform major component rebuilds and breakdowns on all fleet.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.

• Work efficiently to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

• Follow strict safety, quality, and compliance procedures.

• Collaborate with a skilled team in fast-paced mining environments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Trade Certificate – CERT III Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent).

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience working on large mining excavators.

• Proven experience with Liebherr, Caterpillar, Hitachi and Komatsu

• Strong knowledge of Caterpillar and Cummins engines.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and provide a National Police Clearance (within 6 months).

• Valid C Class Driver’s License

• EWP, WAH, and Crane tickets are advantageous.
