Steelfixer (Precast)

About the role:

Rockmount is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precast concrete manufacturer based in Chullora, currently growing out their steelfixing team. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity — you'll start on assignment through Rockmount, with a genuine pathway to permanent employment with our client after 6 months.

What you'll be doing:

•     Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings for precast concrete panels and products

•     Cutting, bending and fixing reinforcement steel and mesh to specification

•     Placing and securing reinforcement cages into precast moulds ahead of pour

•     Working alongside the production team to keep pace with daily pour schedules

•     General steelfixing duties within a busy precast production environment

What you'll need:

•     Minimum 2 years' steel fixing experience — precast experience highly regarded

•     Willing to work flexible shifts, generally 8–12 hours

•     Have your own full PPE

•     Physically fit with a great attitude and willingness to learn
